When using Intuit Link to request information it does not save the email portion of the requests. Since we customize most of those messages we need to be able to go back and see what was sent to the client and resend the same message if necessary.
When we create a copy of a return, it is named COPY until we rename it. Then we make another copy, it is still named COPY. We do not know what each COPY is for.I suggest to have a way to tell the timestamp of each copy, or possibility to give it another name when making the copy. Please vote FOR my other idea: https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/proconnect-tax-idea-exchange/request-a-case-management-tool-for-proconnect/idi-p/111336 , thanks!
Why doesn't proconnect support CA 3885L? its the CA depreciation schedule for Form 568 CA LLC return. So any individual taxpayer filing CA 568 with depreciation has to mail the tax return? Does not make sense. Please look to support that form next year.
Every user needs to be able to have access in Pro-Connect to view and to download someone's signed tax return. We have 15+ employees that all need to view this information in order to do their jobs efficiently. Everybody needs to have access to this, not just the person who originally sent this for signatures.
The software already has Form W-7, I request to make Form W7COA available.PS: please consider to vote for my other idea https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/proconnect-tax-idea-exchange/request-a-case-management-tool-for-proconnect/idi-p/111336 , thanks!
It would be a nice addition to allow clients to upload tax documents into Link at any time during the year. This would allow clients to upload documents to Link during the year as they are received and not have to save them elsewhere and then have to upload them to Link once Intuit releases current year tax software, which is typically toward the end of the year. It would be a one-stop shop for clients to save their tax documents throughout the year and would be a nice value-added for tax preparers to offer to their clients.
PY worksheets are availabe for the preparer to review. They can not be copied or moved to the shared documents folder (have to download and then upload). It would be convenient to be able to transfer or copy on the same screen for easy client access.
It would be helpful for 990 forms to be able to convert to from Proseries to ProConnect.
When a signature request is sent, and if the client fails to sign and the request is voided and resent, the eSignature status under the return view currently shows "multiple." This is not an accurate representation of the current status. I request that the status be updated to accurately reflect the current, non-voided eSignature request.
Can you set up a feature to add a explanatory note to the filing? (this was available in Lacerte) You can attached a PDF but I don't see where you can add a note. Thanks
Please add a button in the tax return input screen that we can click to take us directly to their Documents folder. As it stands we have to go to Clients, then search for the Client and select, then click on Documents to get there. Tedious. Should be a very easy fix.
