Portal Sign Up by Client
I have been looking into a new workflow and portal product called Tax Dome. It allows you to post a link you your website, for new clients to click and set up their own portal accounts and start uploading tax information, without needing an invitation from the tax preparer. It asks them some general questions, like name, type if return, etc. and allows them to continue the process of uploading tax information without a break in time or work. This is great if marketing to smaller return clients who might not call first and would like to look for/sign up with a tax preparer at that moment instead of lets say a Turbo Tax Expert. It would be great if something like that was possible with Link.
