Could the codes on the Sch D input be modified to correspond with the codes that show up on the return? Right now, for codes A and D on Sch D/Form 8949, you leave the input field blank; enter a 1 for codes B and E; and enter a 2 for codes C and F.Why can't we just enter A-F here? That would more appropriately correspond with the 1099-B information preparers have in front of them.

When entering withholding (Box 4) in 1099-NEC Worksheet that is linked to Schedule C it does not flow automatically to Form 1040, Line 25b. We have to manually open Tax Payments Worksheet to verify it is showing on Line 13, no entries needed just opening the Tax Payments Worksheet triggers the amount to flow correctly to Form 1040, Line 25b
For instance changing the category, activity or situs (State) for multiple assets by selecting them, change the desired field then a confirmation asking if you want to make the same change on all assets. As a new user imported assets on multistate returns in a huge mess to correct a few hundred assets that imported with no category or situs.Or make the CTRL + Down Arrow command work without pressing enter and having to back the cursor up each time.
My client has loaned money to his company over two tax years. I was entering them all as one loan. He also was repaid some of the loan in the 2nd tax year. Entering all the activity as one loan over two years triggered a Form 4797 gain which was incorrect. Jeff from Qbooks helped me figure it out
I have multiple clients right now that do not wish to be electronically filed until April and to be able to filter them out of my processing list on HomeBase would be amazing. For instance when you filter out EF Accepted or Blank files etc, to be able to mark a file as hold and filter it out of the list so that it does not accidentally get sent off etc.

The new calculator set up SUCKS! I want to be able to hit control A, run my numbers, hit "P," and paste the number in the line on the return. Then I should be able to hit ESC., to close the calculator back down. The calculator for 2020 and before worked perfectly for years and years. Then you guys decided to change it for no good reason and now it sucks. Please revert back to the old calculator so we can move quicker without having to use a mouse.
