Sch D/Form 8949 codes
Could the codes on the Sch D input be modified to correspond with the codes that show up on the return? Right now, for codes A and D on Sch D/Form 8949, you leave the input field blank; enter a 1 for codes B and E; and enter a 2 for codes C and F.
Why can't we just enter A-F here? That would more appropriately correspond with the 1099-B information preparers have in front of them.
