ND Partnership Return - Schedule KP - IRA partners REQUIRED to be reported type ExemptDiscussion ongoing

Problem: the IRS allows partner types on Schedule K-1 to be listed as "IRA".  However, North Dakota will reject any e-filed partnership return that includes IRA as a partner type.  They simply do not allow that type of partner listed on Schedule K-1.  However, I called the ND tax department and they do legally allow IRA's a partners in a partnership (they have to since the IRS allows it), but the ND tax technician said that that the IRA partners required be marked as "Exempt" on the ND Schedule KP Column 3.  This is because IRA's are exempt from ND income tax and allows the return to be properly processed for e-file purposes. The instructions for ND Form 58, page 10 state that the only acceptable reporting types are:Individual.........................IC corporation.................CND PartnershipS corporation..................SPartnership......................PEstate...............................ETrust.................................TExempt organization.... OSolution: Please add a field on Screen 7 under the North Dakota section to allow IRA partners to be marked as type Exempt.  Or better yet - change the program so that if type for Federal purposes is marked IRA, that the program AUTOMATICALLY reports the partner type on ND Schedule KP column e as Type O Exempt Organization.   Thank you for your help.

taxypayer download docs/documents in bulkDiscussion ongoing

Some clients/taxpayers do not keep a record of all docs submitted to CPA's through Intuit Link. Intuit Link from the taxpayer's portal does not provide an option to download all files/responses/To Do's in bulk but it is my understanding that the CPA can. I have spent so much time searching Intuit's articles and googling a way for a taxpayer to download in bulk on their own; I have called Intuit and clicked on all the links they provided and they are either clueless or won't tell me that this is not an option. Is this option available for taxpayers? If yes, where/how? If no, please add it! It seems like such a simple option that should have been available by now. Please make it easier to find a response! The phone menu does not even mention Intuit Link (to reroute the call) and the rep I spoke with on the phone had no idea how to get in touch with a Link expert. This would be a great feature for taxpayers to do this on their own as CPA's are sometimes really hard to get a hold off for small issues like this and it can be a lot of work (specially if taxpayers have been clients for several years) to request that the CPA provide all documents.  PLEASE NOTE: I did try the "download my data" feature but the information that Intuit provided is useless/random letters that comes in an incomprehensible zip file without my tax documents and without any instructions as to what the purpose of this 'data' is.
