NYS PTE tax election and tax return filing can only be made by NYS online portal. It would be helpful if Lacerte can calculate the tax for each partner by adding a couple of input fields so that the numbers can be plugged into the NYS portal.

Also, NYS does have an upload feature to import all the partner information. Lacerte should have a way to export the information needed for the import, in the format that NYS requires, so that it can be quickly and easily uploaded.

For Lacerte to leave all the calculations and K-1 information up to the accountant is totally dropping the ball here.

I was sure by now Lacerte would have this built in. It is not rocket science and there's no reason it wasn't done. Other tax programs had it out months ago.
