PROVIDE THE ABILITY TO PRINT ALL PAYMENT COUPONS IN THE RETURN FROM THE PRINT SCREEN LIKE PRINTING ALL THE EF SIGNATURE FORMS INTO 1 PDF FILE FOR FEDERAL AND ALL STATE RETURNS. THIS FUNCTION WOULD SAVE A LOT OF TIME SO YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TO GO INTO THE STATE RETURN AND THEN PRINT THE SELECTED FORM AND THEN HAVE TO SELECT THE PAYMENT/FILING PAYMENT COUPON FOR EACH STATE.
Connecticut has two business returns now. Even when a checkbox is selected for 'filing pe tax return' and then the tax return is efiled, pro connect does not file the pe tax return AND does not show any kind of code or rejection message. It just says filed and accepted under the state. After we file we have to know to unlock the return, select that second state return, and efile a second time. None of this creates a diagnostic or other code, the dashboard looks all filed and accepted. This is obviously dangerous and will lead to a lot of returns not filed when people thought they were. Yes one can see if she goes into the return and looks at detailed information, but that's not a good system. Please make it file both when efiling or at the very least make it obvious that it didn't like !!! attention needed!!! hoping is not a strategy. Thanks
Can Lacerte add electronic payment of estimated tax for the remaining states? Currently there are 18 states that Lacerte has not set up. All those states allow for electronic payment so it would be nice if Lacerte did the same.
There is an ad trying to sell esignature that pops up when a return is printed. This pop up must be closed before you can continue. With the fees paid to Lacerte, I assumed this is not an ad based system. Please add an option to at least turn off these interruptions to our work flow
I'd like to be able to print from help topics that pop up in the help dialog. So far, I've not found a way to print them. I'd like to be able to keep a hard copy of a procedure that I find with the tax return that it pertains to.
Using the Search function in Lacerte has been very hit or miss for me. I rarely receive highly relevant information when I search for advanced "how to" procedural help or help on form data input questions. More often than not, the results are just basic information that contain a keyword or similar keyword, totally unrelated to what I'm looking for. I know that there are many facets to Lacerte's help (Help Center, Contents and Search, Online Community, etc.), but that's the problem. I expect a search to encompass those databases and provide me with highly relevant information. Lacerte's context-sensitive help, by contrast, is excellent. Can Lacerte implement a better search engine, system of filters, or some type of AI assistant for help? I've read that Intuit places a high value on AI. Why not put some effort into using it to improve Lacerte?
Other softwares offer Excel import availability for K-1, K-3 and 199A data. ProC needs to add this ability.We will be moving to another software if this isn't updated for 2025.
