Create a notification for changes made after returns are sent for e-signature
In order to prevent inadvertent changes prior to e-filling (either due to PTO or user updates) after the return has been sent for e-signature either add the option to lock the return to prevent updates or add a notification option to indicate changes after e-signature was sent.
We just switched from UltraTax and their process involves qualifying the return before you submit the e-file. If changes are made between the time the e-file is created/the return is sent to the client and when you go to submit the e-file, it is marked as STALE indicating that changes have been made since the e-file was created, either due to a new update in the program or due to user changes.
