Are there any plans to allow Pennsylvania Estimated Tax Payments to be deducted automatically instead of having to have clients send paper checks or file electronically outside of ProSeries?
There really should be a direct deposit option for overpayments on Trust/Fiduciary returns for the Federal overpayments.
For example, we have several W-2 to input. Allow something like Ctrl+PgDwn to go to the next W-2 and Ctrl+PgUp to go to the previous W-2. At the end of the W-2s allow Esc to the W-2 screen and Ctrl+PgDwn to go to next input area.
When a client is an India Citizen / Resident the form should prompt for entry of that years allowed standard deduction due to the US-India Treaty.
LACERTE post 2017 NOL applied to current year returns should be automated with a worksheet to be attached to the return for electronic filing. This is not an option for the so-called top-shelf program sold by Intuit. Get this fixed now! We will be looking for other software providers that actually automatically calculate this and provide the government requested worksheets.
My team would really appreciate it if we could have a calculation worksheet (or statement) for box E on Form 5227. We wanted to make sure our workpaper numbers for gross income were matching Lacerte's, but when our sum was falling short, Lacerte didn't have a breakdown for us to compare our numbers to. Thankfully a customer service representative assisted us, but we would have saved a lot of time if we had a calculation worksheet to begin with.
I'm always having to look at last years invoice to look for additional charges & discounts for the current year invoice. It would be helpful if I could click a button and have these notes performa into the next year like so many other places in this software. Thanks,
