Kentucky Form 740 tax preparer check boxNew
Allow the Tax Preparer to check YES allow the DOR to discuss this return with the preparer, and to be able to check that box right on the tax return, below the signature lines on page 2 of the tax return. Many other Proseries tax forms allow this, but the Kentucky 740 requires a checkmark to be made in Part V of the Information Worksheet to allow this.

Please fix it and increase the characters since there is a lot of people that has long last names!!
State drop down menus , zip codesNew
I've noticed there are some instances in the program where you can type the state abbreviation into a dropdown (ie. NY) and you can type both letters and you're done. Other places, you can type the first letter (ie. N) but when you type the second letter it reverts to "NE" the first N in the list. Also, putting in the zipcode work in order to fill in city & state but not in all instances (eg. 1098-T never fill city and state Best, Bob Vito
Form 8879 suggestionDiscussion ongoing
Occasionally, a client won't be able to pass authentication for eSignature. It would be nice if ProSeries BASIC had a feature where I could send a password protected pdf of Form 8879 to the client. I know ProSeries Professional has this, but Basic does not. I would appreciate having this feature very much.Thank you,Cheryl Hemphill, EA

can you improve the layout of the notice so that the DO NOT MAIL does not print over the "Amount of Tax Payment" area? Clients are complaining. Thank you in advance for reviewing.

Year after year, I’m having the same issue with business code numbers on 1065 partnership tax returns. Some of the codes are missing or unable to see please repair them. 1099, W-2 forms for the tax repairs in the external system. Outside of QuickBooks should be reduced to selecting an option for printing one or three forms instead of having standard three forms.
