In ProSeries 2025 I have a Single Member LLC Filing a 1120S that needs to file a TX LLC but it is not available. We need this available as soon as possible.
It would be extremely helpful if client notes carried over to the next tax year. Drake Tax had this and it prevented missed details and reminded the preparer of important information. Adding note rollover in ProConnect would boost efficiency and keep important info in front of preparers year after year.
If the shareholder and officer of an S corporation are the same person, why do I have to type all of the information twice? Make a check box or drop-down menu or allow some way to copy and paste the data in the officers' menu. Less needless data entry when you already have the data! This applies to the signing officer and business rep as well, especially for copying the info to the state forms.
When entering a W2, 1099-R, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, etc. on the input/detail screen the taxpayer/spouse's info is all the way at the bottom. Please please move the client info to be the first thing when opening the "details" from the quick entry. It should be the client info, then the company/employer's info that is seen first at the top, then the rest of the data entry stuff after that.
I would like a way to Batch Assign tax returns. Going to each one to Assign takes way to long!
The ability to e-file Form 114 needs to be made a priority. This is a very important filing that has serious consequences if filed late.
Is there going to be statement page to the detail on line 31 of the 8825 Schedule A? I just think that just reporting a total isn't acceptable. I couldn't find any setting in the partnership module or in the client file.
