Section 1 non taxable income on the M1Rent form does not change numbers when you enter them into the program resulting in a refund that is too large.

I have been paying interest and penalties for my customers because of it.

If you load the M1Rent form the box to activate it should automatically be checked.  Why populate the form if you don't want calculations on it.

I have activated m1rent for Minnesota. Not calculating. I have posted the data from CRP Worksheet. Nothing carries to M1Rent.  On phone with Tech support. USELESS.  I am a CPA in Ohio. I would have thought the form would calculate and then drop into Schedule M1REF for the refundable renters credit.  Am I doing something wrong

@Sara_K   That non-taxable income does NOT affect the calcuations, so I am unsure why you are thinking there are penalties and interest involved.

@vjgcpa   Are you saying there is an amount on line 3 of the CRP worksheet (you need to fill out the separate CRP worksheet, apart from the M1RENT) but it is NOT carrying to line 11 of the M1RENT?

Pro Series had me uninstall program, then re-install.

It worked. Thank you to all that commented.
