Proseries renewal invoice increased by 40%

I recently received my 2025 ProSeries renewal invoice that showed a 40% increase from tax year 2024.  I have called 4 times asking the question - why did it increase by 40%?  There is no change in the products.

The customer support is just awful and nobody seems able to answer.  I just want a response so that I have enough time to evaluate other tax products.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Untrue! If you pay for unlimited, Proseries shall not become a partner in the amount of clients you have

Yes, I can tell.  And of course the message board is monitored.  Surprised if it wasn’t.

I agree.  The 50% increase in the 2026 pro series prof. fast path is alarming.  No one seems to answer for the increase.

Hi Input,

Three years ago, Intuit offered me the opportunity to be a "Champion" or advocate or whatever. In return for some swag and trinkets, the agreement requested that I refrain from criticism of Intuit. I did not sign it.  I felt like they were asking me to silence my voice.

------------------------------------------

Years ago Intuit created a group of rag tag practitioners called the AllStars.  Intuit invited a number of folks that were carrying the weight of providing free help to this place to be anointed with the title.  There was no "sign on the dotted line" in order to join or even a hand shake required.  Having the title didn't give you super powers but it did allow you to access a lounge that allowed us to voice concerns about the product behind the scenes that helped to get moderator's attention when there was a significant issue with the product or complain about things, like let's say price increases.  A few times they allowed us to join in on phone discussions with Intuit personnel about the product, but they never, ever actually listened to any of our suggestions to make actual changes.

A few years back they rolled out the community that you now see.  As part of that roll out they disbanded the AllStars but created a new group of superheroes known as the Champs.  But as  mentioned, you had to sign some paperwork in order to become a Champ.  There were some discussions among the AllStars regarding the "sign here" requirement.  The majority of the group said thanks, but no thanks and were relegated back to mere mortals in the world of Intuit.  A few of the AllStars agreed to be agreeable with Intuit and got the new titles and a few folks have been added since then.

As I noted above, my blunt approach to this place has resulted in me receiving messages from Intuit from anywhere between "you shouldn't have said that" to "your privileges to this place have been suspended".  I did get reprieve from the governor though on my suspension.  I have pissed people off in this place and on the flip side I have made a number of friends.  A number of those friends did stand up for me which resulted in my suspension being shortened.  So currently am a free man in the Intuit world, but who knows what might get me in trouble next so that I end up with a life in prison sentence.

I'm proud to be part of the ragtag bunch.

Would the t-shirts have our old badge on it - the old Intuit chicken?

Some of us were much less polite than that.
