Please add an autofill option box for The Current Address for this:Form 5695, Residential Energy Credits should have an autofill box for 21C to add the current address after checking Main Home box in the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit Smart Worksheet like it does for for 17D
We are getting close to 500 returns now with ProConnect and a growing number of joint filers are asking that both taxpayers have the same Link invite be sent them so they can both login individually and complete the organizers on their own time. Can this be done or added?
I would like the invoice to automatically populate a price for each form that was used similar to how lacerte prepares its invoices.
For Partnership returns with multiple partners and states, it would be helpful to be able to print all Partners FED and State K-1's all at once
Please have a little box that tells me the dependent's age for the tax year like ProSeries does. I already have to do enough math.
The functionality of Intuit Link seems really limited in general. I'm not sure why they can't take the tax organizers that are generated in Lacerte and apply the principles to Proconnect Tax. There has to be a more effective way to do this. SurePrep also does this task really well. The whole thing seems very clunky and difficult. I also don't like that I basically have to copy and paste my engagement letter into Intuit. Seems like we should be able to include it as an attached document that can be signed, or be able to link the eSignatures feature here and utilize that. The formatting and overall look of the engagement letter when pasted in to Intuit Link turns me off, and I send them via Adobe Sign instead. Would be nice to have these handled all in one place.
Splitting a MFJ to MFS returns is a great feature. Unfortunately, the current implementation defaults to using the last name of the Taxpayer from the MFJ tax return for both of the MFS returns even when the Spouse in the MFJ return has a different last name. This should be an incredibly easy fix.
Put Prior Depreciation in the quick entry grid, instead of having to open detail to find it.
It would be great if the input for interest, dividends, other income and capital gains could follow broker statements and be on the same tab or create a second input to be input for broker statements, other software has this. Right now you have to exit input areas and move to different sections to do this, it is time-consuming and frustrating to add the statement names as well.
