Schedule K-1 Package needed in Proseries

You get what you pay for, you'll find that Lacerte is a much more expensive software package.

I totally agree, the function to print one single K-1 combining the letter, the federal K-1 and State K-1 does not exist in Pro Series. The existing process is very frustrating and I would say antiquated when most other tax softwares offer this option. 

Please Intuit get onto the bank wagon and offer this option especially that every year prices keep on increasing.

PS' functionality is not as robust as others. For instance, even though the states' returns are linked to the federals, like the income flowing through, they are not linked the opposite way.

IE, the MFJ vs. MFS comparison is federal only. The state cannot be brought into the federal comparison.

IE, the same is true for the planners. No state can come through to the federal planner.

You want more robust, try Lacerte or Ultratax. And you'll pay for it.

Yes, please do. It’s very much needed

We've been using ProSeries since its inception. For partnerships, S-Corps, and Trusts, being able to print / PDF a complete K-1 package for each partner, shareholder, or beneficiary is long overdue.

I would literally pay extra to have just this one option available. WE are forced to print, scan, collate, and email the K1's which do not look as crisp compared everyone else. This is MUST by pro series to upgrade.

I could not agree more. It is terrible that we do not have the option to print a K-1 package to the client. The task is daunting when you have several shareholders. I find it also very unprofessional that I have to tell my clients that my software does not provide this option. Proseries gets more expensive every year and I have noticed that they basically do not care. 

This option is available on Lacerte and Intuits owns Lacerte. Can you please make an effort and try to accommodate us? Please get onto the band wagon.

And by the way prices at Pro Series are not cheap anymore.

Last tax season (April 2022 for the 2021 tax year) I spent about 5 to 6 hours collating the cover letter, federal K-1 (page 1 and 2), the QBI deduction, and the state K-1 for 17 partners of a 1065 tax return.  This was an unbelievable waste of time and effort especially when in the thick of the tax season.  I understand the more expensive Lacerte software may have this ability.  It would be so easy for the software programmers to fix this for Pro Series Professional.  This coming tax season I will have more partnership returns to do and will run into the same problem if this is not fix.  If it isn't fixed, it is enough to make me leave and find another software provider.  This is a basic function that should be provided to preparers!!  Please implement this for the 2022 tax season!!

Has the Pro Series been updated  for the 2022 tax year to allow a Partnership or S corporation the ability to print either to paper of PDF the federal and all state K-1's for each partner in one process.  This can take hours to assemble when there are multiple partners with multiple states.
