Is anyone else having trouble with not being able to login due to no users on proconnect account? has been an issue since 8/30Spoke with this morning again and was told there was NO estimated restoration time. We have 9/16 deadline for business extensions. Does anyone have a line to someone higher up not just basic support? Our office wants assurance if this is not fixed Intuit will cover our clients penalties and interest.
It would be helpful if a client has an IP PIN one year (taxpayer, spouse or dependents) if ProSeries would require that field to be completed in future years. Make a blank IP PIN field an Error if the prior year had one.Once the IRS determines that an IP PIN is required, or once a taxpayer has requested they have an IP PIN, that number is REQUIRED each year before filing can be completed. The IP PIN changes each year so it can't be carried forward. Clients don't understand the importance of IP PINs and frequently don't bother bringing it in or they are misplaced. If I don't remember they had one, I don't remember to ask for it. Then the return rejects at e-filing and I have to start the process of making the client track the number down.
All foreign income is RIC. It is my understanding that if all foreign income is RIC that the designation for each individual country is unnecessary pro Series does not appear to Allow RIC Alone and will require a country description without the country description. The return creates an error without explanation and will not allow electronic filing. This forces users to manually prepare K2 K3, and attach it also doesn’t allow the box 16 checkmark to be included.
In Partnership return 1065, On Pg 5-6 , Under Analysis of Net Income (Loss) per Return - Amounts are shown under Limited Partners Column, even though on K-1 of each partner is marked as General Partner. This needs to be fixed because amounts are shown under incorrect column. The amounts should be shown under General Partner column. The reason I know it is flowing to wrong column is because when you uncheck General partner on K-1 worksheet, the amount automatically flows to General Partner, But a box needs to be checked on K-1, otherwise proseries will shown it as an error.
I would like to recommend creating a Statement of Gambling Winnings and Losses(similar to a W-2 Statement for multiple W-2's) to provide the detail for the GamblingIncome on Schedule 1 and Losses allowed on Schedule A.
Easy to work with, Thank you!
Clicking "Forms" defaults to "Zoom to page width" every time.Every time I have to click the "Zoom" button and then "Show full page".May we please have the Zoom "default" to what the user prefers. Such a simple thing but I have to do it over and over and over needlessly.
