Every time I go to print a client return, the option showing is Client Copy. That has way too many pages. I always print the government copy for the client, with a few added modifcations. We should be able to set a DEFAULT print option that the government copy will be the one highlighted. I have to switch this every time.
Please add an option to Force Print 8829 and force print Depreciation schedules. Clients may want to see this form. and the schedules. When optional Simplified Method is used, form 8829 does not print and it also suppresses depreciation schedules. So even if all the info is there, it does not print it and as a result, the invoice is also wrong if it is based on charges per form. This request is only for cosmetic changes and Lacerte can continue to do it's calculations in it's own ways. The request is just like an option to force print 6251 even if AMT is not actually kicking in.
We want the ability to send an eSign request for an 8878 form even if there is no payment owed or a refund in the ProConnect software.
When we go to download signed eSignature (Federal 8879 & state 8879 or similar) forms, we want to also be able to download a complete, signed, and unwatermarked copy of the return at the same time. Better yet, if Proconnect could merge all of those signed forms together and have the entire signed, unwatermarked return including signed 8879's, that would be awesome!

Hi there. Please allow when needing to get signed Efile Forms from Trustee's to let them sign when needing to file a deceased tax return.
Line 11A doe not appear on the input sheets when printed out. It is a line item that is commonly used in the partnership module. Need to update so this prints out.
Provide which dependent is the problem without calling support.I recently filed a tax return that was rejected with the Code: IND-517-02. Basically a dependent has a tax return already filed for the IRS, but they didn't indicate they were eligible to be claimed as a dependent.Which dependent, you may ask? Well, here's the solution provided in the rejection text by ProConnect:'''If multiple dependents are present in this return, review the Description field. There will be a number in brackets, [?], that identifies which dependent is causing this reject. For example: "[2]" will identify the second dependent from the top.'''No matter where I looked, I could not find any number in brackets. Finally, I talked to support. They asked for the submission ID (confirmation ID) and were able to tell me immediately which dependent was the issue. So I asked how I was supposed to find that out, and he said that you must contact support to get that info. That's dumb. You have the info. Allow the info to be available to the tax return preparer so they can solve the issue without contacting support.
WHEN IN THE HOMEBASE EF CENTER - WHETHER IN THE "PENDING" OR "ACCEPTED" TAB - IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DETERMINE WHAT REFUND/PAYMENT AMOUNT AND REFUND/PAYMENT METHOD WILL BE PROCESSED WITH AN EXTENSION OR RETURN WHEN TRANSMITTED. I REALIZE THIS IS LARGELY DUE TO THE MANY POSSIBLE COMBINATIONS THAT ARE AVAILABLE. THAT SAID, THE HOMEBASE COLUMN HEADERS DO LITTLE TO IMPROVE CLARITY. PARTICULARLY WHEN ONE ADDS THE POSSIBILITY FOR THE PROCESSING OF A QUARTERLY ESTIMATE INTO THE MIX. SEPARATING THE EXTENSION VERSES THE RETURN ON SEPARATE ROWS HELPS BUT DOESN'T REALLY GO FAR ENOUGH.SHORT OF AN OVERHAUL OF THE PRESENTATION OF THIS DATA IN THE EF CENTER (E.G., ON A POP-UP TABLE RELATED SOLELY TO A SINGLE EXTENSION OR RETURN - ONE THAT MERELY REITERATES THE DATA IN THE RETURN ITSELF) COULD YOU PLEASE IMPROVE THE LAYOUT OF THE COLUMNS AND THE COLUMN HEADER DESCRIPTIONS IN HOMEBASE EF CENTER FOR CLARITY? THE FLOW OF THE COLUMN ORDER SHOULD BE LOGICAL (HOW MUCH AND WHAT METHOD FOR AN EXTENSION, RETURN AND/OR ESTIMATE).WHILE I REALIZE THAT THE COLUMNS CAN BE MOVED AROUND, THAT SEEMS TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE (AGAIN, DUE TO THEIR LIMITED DESCRIPTIONS). YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO TAKE A BYSTANDER OFF THE STREET CORNER, HAVE THEM LOOK AT THE HOMEBASE EF CENTER AND THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING TO OCCUR WHEN THE RETURN (ROW) IS CONVERTED AND PROCESSED (I.E., BASIC GUI WORK).AS ALWAYS, THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.
