EasyACCT Release 2025.2.05.583 ... Updated Information

Thank you for taking the time on our last update post to let us know what is and is not working for the  EasyACCT program. 

At this time, we do not have an estimated timeline for all fixes. With the current 2025.2.05.583 release, the following items are included in the update:

 

  • Form 940 and 944 e-filling changes for 2025
  • EasyAcct 2025 performance improvement for Payroll Journal Report

 

Please continue to bring forward feedback and share what is and is not working directly on this update post. Centralizing feedback here will help ensure items are captured more quickly and reviewed efficiently. Each item shared on the last update post was provided to our support and development teams for review and we will continue to do so.

If you are still experiencing any of the items listed above after installing Version 2025.2.05.583 or if you have program-related questions, EasyACCT Support is best equipped to review them with you.

When entering a new employee and click "save" the screen doesn't close. Also, when moving within a screen under employee, such as earning report, and you want to exit out of that screen and go back to "main" viewing screen, the screen is stuck on the blank grey screen and never transitions to the screen you want to view. I have to hit the ctrl, alt, delete buttons to end task in task manager and then log back in. Also, view is still a problem as it doesn't show the entire screen, it's cut off, you select dates, have to hit the view to minimize the entire screen and the screen is much smaller, this also occurs in accounts receivable, you can't see the line you want to view without dropping to the line below to be able to read the prior line above.

Still cannot even login to the system after the update and was told computer is talking to multiple realms, likely due to the fact we have been using the company over 15 years. I have called daily for a week to be continuously put off by everyone I speak to, I was just told today that I would be added to the investigation to get updates moving forward. They say they just need to merge the realms. 2 days until those 1099 have to be post marked to our customers and this "simple solution" has still not been done. We will be looking for a new tax program and moving forward with passing along any regulatory issues to Intuit as we have documented everything. Is there anyone that can suggest a different program moving forward. I just need something where I can create and record tax documents I send to customers, I do not need the ability to transmit files online to IRS

I too have called everyday or every other day since January 2nd and the support techs keep putting me off!  They expect us to wait for updates to come out which are making more trouble than what we had before the updates!  I have been waiting for a week for a member of their development team to return my call regarding the backup that I sent them.  All I have received is silence from higher ups and excuses from support techs.  I don't think they know what the HELL they are doing and this may never get fixed! If anyone has suggestions on small business accounting software that does A/P; A/R; Invoicing, and Payroll, please let me know.  I'm very interested in changing at this point!

We know you all have had a lot of feedback about the EasyACCT program this year. 

In this year’s EasyACCT program, Intuit invested in technology upgrades, ensuring that it continues to conform to our development standards.  This type of change is intended to support improved functionality over time and help ensure EasyACCT can continue to be maintained and enhanced in the future.  We are aware that as a result of these changes, customers may have experienced issues with the product this year.  We apologize for the challenges this may have caused during a busy time of year.

Our EasyACCT teams have been reviewing issues as they are identified, and working through them as quickly as possible. At the same time, we are reviewing our internal processes to help improve overall product stability going forward. 

We also want to acknowledge the feedback shared by this community. What you’ve reported helps inform our review and is taken into consideration as we work to improve the product. I still cannot log in, and as you know there is a deadline to have the recipient's tax forms postmarked by tomorrow. Half my information is in the irs desktop system and I cannot log in to print half still has to be done as I have not been able to get into the system for over a week. I have spoken daily to someone different trying to regain access to my account. I had my IT as well as your people on conference with no solution and told it was escalated to someone of higher authority that would reach out to me to fix the situation. No one has done that either. The customer does not care how many hours I have spent on the phone with Intuit trying to regain access to their forms to get them in the mail. The IRS is not going to care how many hours and days in a row I have called either. The only responses I get are from do not reply emails. In a case such as this you guys really need to work on your process of assisting your customer. Have someone who knows what they are doing, have a way to get in contact with one singular person if the issue cannot be resolved in a timely manner and update your customer. This is beyond crazy. Your update is what happened to make it so that I cannot log in, the only entity that can resolve the issue is Intuit and you leave your customer in the dark about what is going on. It is a shame.

I have this same issue with 3 of my large clients.  I cannot transfer the files from 24/25 software to 25/26 software.  I am completely without any means to access their information at all.

I have been using EasyAcct to prepare payroll. AND been using this program for longer than I want to admit.  The total page of the payroll check register has up to now not been showing any totals.  Today, I am trying to prepare payroll & the check register total page just shows today's payroll---its February!.    So where is my January totals?  I tried running a payroll earning report---its is not showing payroll for January either.  WHAT IS GOING ON?  HOW DO I FIX THIS.  I am so angry with this company---you pay $ 3500. for software & spend most of your time redoing what you already did.  I am seriously considering contacting an attorney.    What is the fix for this?  I am tired of wasting time on hold for support.

I've noticed that the payroll earnings reports is still showing no information; however, if you do a payroll journal report for the month of January the 2nd to last page will have all your monthly totals.  My problem is with the Accounts Receivable General Ledger still not showing any of my A/R GL account totals, "NO RECORDS EXIST"!  After doing their updates, I'm now also missing invoices from December that were showing in my A/R Aged Detail Listing on 12/31/25!

Same problem with my Accounts Receivable.  NO RECORDS EXIST.   Also still getting the message unable to access company files.  Spoke 4 different times with tech support, one suggested I had a bad data path, 2 other computers in office got the same message.  We were all good until we downloaded the 25/26 program.

AP Check Register most always has one Vendor ID / Name missing.  Is there a fix for this?

Please update your EasyAcct software to the latest version. Here is a knowledge base you can review: Understanding causes for missing or deleted data in EasyACCT. Ok, I have gone back and re-entered all my sales in the sales journal, for the entire year of 2025 for most of my clients, and I have been working in both years 2025 and 2026, so I close and reopen, BUT NOW everything I put in 2025 is GONE AGAIN in the sales journal.  Why, if what I read, we have to re-enter, nothing about it being deleted again, how many times am I going to have to do this, I am still working in both years, cuz I need to get my clients their yearend reports to get their taxes done, but at this point, I am so tired and do not understand why the sales journal is not keeping the data.  Does anyone have an answer for me to understand and not go totally nuts..  OR once I put sale journal items in 2025 I can not go back to 2025, if I happen to go into 2026 to do business, payroll, write checks, etc, my job.
