Kathi,

I installed the latest update today 2025.2.08.

The sales journal still does not post to the cumulative general ledger.

What is going on? How and when will this get fixed? Calling support is extremely time consuming.... Heck, I remember being able to call support on Saturdays, during tax season (at least for the month of January) support had extended hours, they were available later, AND on Saturdays.

In the 32 years (yes 32 years!) I have used this program, NEVER EVER, has it been that bad.

Sigh

I finally gave up on getting my sales journals back. I went back and re-entered all the sales in Write up using a journal entry and it seems to be working. I can't wait on Intuit any longer. I just hope they are going to do the right thing and give us a refund for all the trouble we have all been experiencing.

All 940s submitted again tonight, and all have already been accepted. On to the next issues.

Oh there's PLENTY of issues to move on to from the 940 resolution.  It is the worst year ever with EasyAcct.

How about fixing the sales journals? Now it's throwing off my financials because it's showing begging balances on the income accounts. This is all way past ridiculous. We have work to get done people.

Call support they will help you restore the sales journals

My 940 forms are being rejected due to "invalid format of banking information" .  I cannot find a fix for this.  Please help.  Notice says to wait for update and resubmit--have done so and 940's are still rejected.

There was an update yesterday and an update today. I ran the update from yesterday and then re-filed the 940s and all were accepted. There was another update today which I have not completed. I'm not sure how but you may have to redo the update from yesterday. The agent said there would be 3 updates: yesterday, today and tomorrow. It could be that one of the later updates will also fix the 940s.

I have just installed update 2025.2.07
I ran the cumulative general ledger, and the sales journal entries are still not posting.
Can you please get this fixed already?

How are we supposed to get our work done? What else is not posting correctly to the cumulative general ledger?

Thank you.

This is a complete disaster.  I have not been able to transfer my 3 largest clients, nor can I access their information beginning December 1.  My client has given me until January 30 to get this fixed or they are going to find new accounting.     I cannot access any of their history, and if I divert back to 2024/2025 version, I cannot file the 2025 W2 forms, quarterly reports, or any 2026 payrolls, a/p or a/r.

The "next" Friday is after the 1/31/26 deadline of filing.  What exactly am I supposed to do at this point.  Has anyone had any luck printing 2025 W2s on the 2024/25 version of EasyAcct?

Does anyone have a comparable software suggestion with the same components as EasyAcct?

I have not. I resorted to typing them all in by hand on SS website and at least they're done now. I'm afraid to do any updates at all.

I understand.  This means at least 300 forms not including terminated employees.  I better get started to have it completed by 1/31.

What am I supposed to do if I already did this update early this morning?  Is this going to further my problems with both 2025 and 2026 information?  I don't know how to "undo" an update.

When setting up a new client we cannot transfer a financial statement design from one client to another and this is a PROBLEM!  The error message states, "there is no financial statement design available" when in fact there is!  Please advise!

Many problems with the update!  I've never seen this before with EASY.

Besides the problems you list, I just created a direct deposit file and it did not use the correct bank information.  It pulled from a different existing bank account!

After installing the most recent update, 2025.2.09, on January 27, 2025.  Earnings and payroll tax information is still not posting to the Payroll Earnings Report, and State unemployment is not present at all. Is there an expected time when this issue will be resolved?

Debby, when running the payroll journal, check to run by employee, it will post to the monthly column, then run the earnings report and it will post to the monthly column.

That worked for me after the latest update.

Sales journal is still a mess.......

Good luck!
