why am i being charged an additional $53 to file a state tax return?

      I'm a Lacerte user, but when I renew I pay for unlimited federal returns and unlimited state for my home state.  If I file another state's return, or a multi-state return with my home state and another, I pay a REP charge for that state return.

      If you're paying by REP only, I believe you would be charged if you added another year.

      Are you using PPR? Fed and State fees are separate.  I pay 98. per returns this year.
