What's up with the estimated tax vouchers?

Why is it that the estimated tax vouchers aren't ready till February 25th.

      I have been wondering that myself.  I use Pro Series Basic.  Could it have anything to do with IRS is wanting everyone to have their estimated tax payments withdrawn electronically?  I have clients that don't want to have their payments withdrawn electronically.  That way if they are a little short on funds they can adjust their payments.

        My Sr clients still insist on mailing payments ..........

         

        The IRS has  25 percent less staff then anticipated              . the older experience is gone ...........

         

        It is a matter of time that tax process of filing returns goes Co pilot   Ai   ....

         

        the back up of writing and including  the big beautiful caused areas to go Awol .......ES vouchers are avail as of 2/18/2026....
