I think it's sweet when a well-off person donates a basic necessity to their struggling co-worker's family. After all, transportation is a basic necessity in the LA area. I've seen stories like this, where a school auto repair class will fix up donated cars and then give them to families down on their luck. I just hope it included a child seat, if that is applicable. It's such a shame to see kids riding around, unprotected.
