What is everyone using for tax planning software? When I used Ultra Tax they had a separate program that we could use for tax planning scenarios.

    The Tax Planner in PTO is too rudimentary for most.  You'd likely need to look elsewhere.  @George4Tacks uses TaxTools and could probably give you some good insights.

      I use BNA Income Tax Planner with 50 states. There is a Lacerte bridge. Don't know if there is for ProSeries and ProConnect.

      The more I know the more I don’t know.

        ProSeries Professional has a Tax Planner in the list of Forms.  It also has a What-If Worksheet.
