Slow start to tax season?

Has anyone else noticed a very slow start to tax season this year?  I know that the IRS only started accepting returns on 2/12/21, but I am feeling like my client volume is low this year.  Do you think taxpayers are holding off on filing because of the pandemic?  I am just wondering what others are experiencing.... thanks

I have a few more returns in than I did at this time last year.  But I had an avalanche of returns hit me yesterday.  Timing mainly depends on when your clients are receiving W-2s, 1099s etc, so if your clients are waiting on those things because they are delayed, you aren't going to see your clients yet.

Seems pretty normal for me, Ive got an established client base that I see year after year, but Ive had WAY more new clients make appointments so far this year.
