however the program shows error when I put in the due date 10/16/2023. How do I get rid off this error ???

You can't.

Intuit is NOT updating the software for CA extended filing/paying date.

There's a loooooooooooooooooong post about this, somewhere.  But since the search engine here sucks (let's see if that gets bleeped 🙂 I cant find it quickly.

Thank you abctax55.

Looks like have to work around by Disable conversion error checking.

Beside Disabling the conversion error checking, what else should that be done so that tax payers will not be penalized for late filing ....???

I don't know what "disable conversion checking is".  I'm a Lacertian

The IRS & FTB are supposed to recognize the ZIP code for any penalties.
