NYC S corp filing for extension

Hello, I am filing for an extension for a NYC S Corp and the software is calculating 25% MFI on top of the current liability. If I'm not mistaken, this was discontinued beginning 2026. Client expects $0 tax liability in 2026 and is closing down so I don't want to make an estimated payment that isn't needed. How do I fix that in proseries? Thank you!

If you can't get a workaround in ProSeries, I'd just go to the NY website and file the extension there. I ran into an issue for an extension for a NY 1040 in Lacerte because I don't have one of the spouse's DL Doc # yet. I just decided to get to the NY website.

For CYA 1) my EL already has the client authorize me filing an extension if/when I deem it necessary, and 2) I didn't see any "only for personal use, no unauthorized use"-like language on the NY website that prohibited me from filing the extension directly for my client.
