Lacerte received 2 efiled tax returns yesterday and still has not sent them to the IRS. Is their computer system down for the 2020 Labor Day Weekend?

Lacerte received 2 efiled tax returns yesterday and still has not sent them to the IRS. Is their computer system down for the 2020 Labor Day Weekend? The status still says received at Lacerte since yesterday.

Both Intuit and the IRS sent out notices that yes, MEF is down for maintenance this weekend.

It happens every year.

Thank you for letting me know! Been still setting up my two new computer on a network and trying to restore the data since my hard drive died and finally was able to finish a partnership and individual tax return yesterday.

I can relate... a Windows update yesterday messed up my network access. I tried troubleshooting it but gave up & did a system restore to a prior build.
