how to record split states on Tax exempt interest dividends in Proseries?

I need to know where should I allocate the tax exempt interest dividends In Proseries personal income tax.  I need to allocate a portion to NY and the rest to XX different states.   Can I allocated in the 1099-int. worksheet instead of the 1099-dividends work sheet?
