I've been doing taxes for 35 years and I have never seen this before so I'm wondering if this is legit:

Client received a letter from the FTB saying for security measures they would like a copy of the client's driver's license and copies of the W-2 and all 1099's and a copy of the last current pay stub from each employer and want it mailed to the Filing Compliance Bureau MS F151 in order to process the return.

Am I being paranoid?
