If you filed a tax return and there was a balance due and you had the IRS debit your bank account for the tax due this does not qualify as the IRS having your bank info for direct deposit of the stimulus check. The IRS advises to go to the website and click on Get My Payment to enter your bank info. But there is no place to do that. Any suggestion?

I have had clients accomplish this at the site. Another was informed they could not because the check will be mailed on Friday. What message are you getting that says you can not enter bank info?

The blue "Get My Payment" box should get you into it.

Whether or not it will acknowledge that you qualify is another question.
