Does a US resident moving to Puerto Rico have to file a 1040 after being in Puerto Rico for 183 days?

    Is there income from within the US or only from Puerto Rico?

      My client will have income from both locations as they are converting there residence in the US to rental property. They will also have investment income from the US.
