Direct deposit to venmo

Client provided a venmo account for direct deposit.  A venmo account is not considered a checking or savings account.  Proconnect want me to choose checking or savings or it will not efile the return.  Any suggestions?

    As long as you have a routing Number and Account number I don't think it matters which you choose.

    I prefer Checking though,

      Their Venmo "account" that is their handle, usually is connected to a real bank account and/or a debit card, which is linked to a bank account. Ask them again, but about which card(s) are linked.
