Confirmation of bank account used

I am looking for an easy or consistent way to have clients approve the bank account routing number and account number at the same time as they are DocuSigning the 8879.

 

Any recommendations?

    I actually have them initial the the 1040 Line 35 next to the bank info and depending on the state the same thing ..

    It sounds to me as if you want an electronic process. One idea:  Prepare the 8879. Save it. Then, in DocuSign, add a line somewhere on the 8879 (Have you reviewed your bank account?) and a checkbox for Yes and a checkbox for No.  Then you will get the 8879 returned to you and you'll see the answer. 

    BUT,

    then you'll have to change the return. (Then restart a new 8879) So this isn't an efficient process.

    Or you could ask them verbally or require that the client reviews the tax organizer BEFORE the return is started.  I know this doesn't answer your question.
