What exactly is your question?

Why do you think they would receive the Child Tax Credit if there is no income?

I believe you have to have at least $2500 of earned income to get the ACTC

What posts are you talking about?  Are you talking about 2022?  The one-time rules for 2021 were much different than the 2022 or pre-2021 rules.

Unless a taxpayer is a full-time student or disabled, they need to have income.
