Child care tax credit

One parent earned no income, but was diligently seeking employment. How do i trigger this in Proseries?

    It's limited to the earned income of the lower earning spouse.  Sounds like in this case that's $0.

      Zero earnings, but i think the tax code allows the tax credit if that person is seeking a job? no?

      Only if the spouse is a full-time student, or disabled. 

      Unemployment is not a disability.
