Can 2022 return be amended to claim QCD?

My client just informed me that IRA annuity payments have been going directly to the church... The client had an RMD that was the same amount as the annuity payment. Can she amend her 2022 tax return to re-claim the QCD deduction?

      Was she claiming the church contributions on Schedule A?

        No, she did not itemize, therefore it could have been used as QCD.
