CA superseded payments not being posted by the FTB

I requested payments on balance due with the FTB for a superseded business return and individual return.

The withdrawals were requested using pro-series.  Payments were never made.  Has anyone else had this issue with superseded returns for CA for Tax Year 2025?

To confirm: you checked your e-file confirmations and it says FTB would be auto-debited?

I use Lacerte, not ProSeries. IME, failed auto-debits have always been user error, not software error. Either the client gives wrong bank info, or I or a team member doesn't check all the right software boxes, etc.

If your efile confirmation says it will auto-debit, and it's been a couple days for ACH to post, I would call Support.

I wouldn't expect to see it on MyFTB for awhile. Not sure what their processing timing is, but amended returns take awhile.

A week after the acceptance by the FTB and no funds were withdrawn.  I called the withholding section of the FTB.  The FTB confirmed there were no payments made or set-up.  I went back into the software to be sure the debit was set up.  The debits were set-up with the FTB.

The business return was a superseded return and individual return was an amended return.

From past experience the FTB has lost payments initiated through software.  Rare event

I am not sure ProSeries does CA supersede return 540. https://accountants.intuit.com/support/en-us/help-article/amend-tax-return/e-filing-superseded-returns-proseries/L4uTPZx8F_US_en_US?srsltid=AfmBOoogYIFOwvZejyqtyKF8S-ZNNcOAS-VmOo7tmmwR95D6xmyYmPzw&uid=mnaq5ck0 seems to indicate on business returns for CA. I work part time for a ProSeries user that told me NO CA 540 superseded..
