T2125 Business auto form(s) not linking to T2125 schedule
I see another discussion about this issue from 2023, but it is not clear if the option to reopening return actually worked for this fix. It does not work for me. I had this issue for 2022 and 2023 returns for the same client, who has had auto expenses for many years, with no issues in previous years. The business name shows in the Allocation of expenses on the business auto form, but will not stay selected, nor can I input into the fiscal period start and end dates. I can only select 100% for the expense total to pull into amount field, but nothing pulls through to the actual T2125 for motor vehicle expenses. So my only option at this point is to override and manually add the amounts in the T2125. The spouse also has a T2125 pulling in a different auto, and no issues with the auto flowing from auto form into T2125 on her return.
