T1 environment set up

Just had an update done and the T1 software changed. Previous when a new T1 was started all the required fields were highlighted in yellow. On the T4 when you entered the employment income (box 14) the cpp and ei and income tax boxes would highlight. Also the cpp and ei boxes would show and estimated amount based on income when you moved the mouse over the box.

Amount owing at the bottom of the screen doesn't show either.

How can i fix this?

This is controlled by one of the settings, which is found in Options , Environment, Audit. In the preference section, the passive auditor check box must be checked.

If you would rather restore all the default settings for profile, you could archive the settings (just for backup purpose)

Exit ProFile.
Go to the folder where Settings are stored, usually C:\users\%user name%\documents\My ProFile Data.
Find the Settings folder and the Settings back-up folders. Create a new folder called settings archive. Move the Settings folders into here.
Open ProFile. The software will automatically rebuild new settings folders.
