Ontario Property Tax Credit

Line 14 of the 2021 GST/HST credit form for an Ontario taxpayer sets the limit for the housing component based on both the taxpayer age and the housing amount. If under 65 the cap is $810 and if 65 or over the cap is $499.

My client in Profile 2021.4.0 has DOB of 1957-02-09 making her 64 at 12/31/2021. I expected her limit to be $810 but Profile set the limit at $499. Just double checking, is Profile correct? And ya, ya, ya I know this is just an estimate and the taxpayer will get acknowledgement letter later.

I believe the age brackets are "under the age 64" and "64 years of age or older" on December 31, 2021. So Profile would be correct
