Emailing tax documents/returns to clients

Hi.  i can't find CRA's rules on the sharing of information over email.  I know the T183 blocks most of the SIN but what about sending the full T1 by email?  Are there rules prohibiting?  TIA

Can we block the SIN on the T1?  or just T183?

No you can not block the SIN, however, you can protect the PDF with a password., please review this link

Some other softwares are not printing the first 5 letters of the client's SIN number. The profile should have a similar feature not to print the whole SIN number on all documents.
