Currently to request a e-signature we print to pdf or print to email and send the forms through outlook. Then step the client through on where to sign and how to sign on phone tablet or computer. This can be timely and to some clients frustrating. There are some Tax Accounting programs and Work flow Software that features Easy E-Signature packages for both the client and the Firm.

Is this a program either through Profile or Intuit Link that is being developed for the next tax year?

The ProFile team is working on a e-sign feature in ProFile. The Process now is detailed in this article. There is not a definite time for release of an e-signature upgrade to ProFile, but the ProFile development team is working on the upgrade

I paid for DocuSign which is supposedly linked to Profile. However, when I "create an envelope" to have a document electronically signed, the envelope does not appear in my linked Docusign account. Anyone else having issues?

is the creation of the envelop stalled or does it complete?

It appears to complete the envelope, but it does not create the pop-up that indicates it has gone to DocuSign. No option to edit the message, subject line, etc. and DocuSign does not receive the envelope.
