Carryforward 2019

I have my 2019 client files on my hard drive but I cannot get Profile to recognize them, therefore I am not able to carry them forward for 2020.  Any suggestions on what might be causing this issue?

Any message when you try to open them?  It's hard to know the issue: if you double click on the file from the location on the hard drive, they should open in ProFile installed on that computer. If the issue continues, have an agent assist you by calling 1-800-452-9970.
