BC Corporation BC0001 instead of RC0001

Hi, Usually the corporation number consists of 9 digits followed by RC0001, but recently I came across a BC-registered company and the business number finishes with BC0001 instead of RC0001.

 

Profile doesn't take BC0001. Should I just put RC0001 and file it or there is another way around it?

No there is no way around, the first 9 digits are from CRA, so it shoud be ok. As always I recommend that you confirm with CRA.
