Work Offline

Does anyone know why they removed the "Work offline" feature?  I have some clients who are older and I do the work at their house, and this causes a problem.  It will not even let me login.

Its been complained about alot this year, we've been told theyre working on it.   

Can you use your phone as a HotSpot to get connected, then disconnect and keep working in the program?
