WHY WON'T THE PROGRAM LET MY CLIENTS PAY BY MAY 1ST IF THEY ARE IN HURRICANE HELENE DFISASTER AREA AND THEIR TIME TO FILE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO MAY 1ST?

When I try to do auto debit in the program, it will not let me use a date past April 15th, even though the date has been extended through May 1st for this Area.

may be delay in programming. have client pay at irs.gov

    The system won't be programmed to do that.  File now and have them pay by check or through the IRS system as Jim mentioned or wait to file until May 1st.  You aren't the first to ask.
