Why NEW 1099-R problems with new update!!!!!!!!

Not at all happy with the program this year!! Two days ago my returns were fine. NOW I can't get through all these new, irrelevant questions re 1099-R!! Also, had all kinds of problems even installing this year and got some very bad advice from the so called expert high end technicians and finally solved the problem myself. Have to think hard about referring in the future.

    Hi there @confused1 The RMD error message is scheduled to be removed from 1099-R input in the 2/27 release.

    In the meantime, if you encounter an error related to Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), and your taxpayer or spouse is over the age of 74 with an IRA or qualified distribution, please enter '0' as the RMD amount.
