Why is the number of W-2's required to extend a business return?

We dont know why, but I think I saw someone says if you uncheck the EF box for the actual return, and just leave the extension box checked, that error goes away.....

    The IRS Silly Rules Committee found that there are a lot of North Korean hackers who are filing extensions for corporations, sometimes paying their tax due, and now working on a way to benefit from getting away with it.
