Why is the date not automatically on the 8879 of the ERO sections?

Why is the date not automatically on the 8879 of the ERO sections?

I have it checked off "Print date on return" on the option  Preparer/area information.

I haven't had that issue in the past.

I dunno why it doesnt put the date for us, it does it for the state of CA 8879 and it does it for both fed and state for fiduciary signature pages.

You CAN go in and "Edit the client template" and check that date box automatically for all new clients, BUT I think then it also puts the date in for the client signature and they might not be signing the same day as you, so Im not a fan of that option.
