Why does a pension 1099R require an RMD entry?

Saw this in previous post, do you think anyone at Intuit cares? Program now requires an RMD for all 1099r's, not just IRA's Shouldn't have to enter an RMD for a pension 1099R. I guess I can plug it but does it cause a problem if I lie? Been using Pro Series for 20 years and this is a first..........

      Put a zero in and move on.  The information doesn’t go anywhere or affect the return so don’t lose any sleep over it
